School hours are 8:45 - 3:45 for grades 1-5.
Morning kindergarten hours are 8:45 - 11:30 and
afternoon hours are 1:00 - 3:45.
All
visitors are asked to check in and out through
the office computer. A digital video system
records the entrance which gives an additional
safety system for our building. Parents
checking out students during the day will be asked
to do so on the computer and office staff will call
your student.
Student
medication
is dispensed by office staff. If a student
requires medication during the school day, please
send the prescription bottle with physician's name,
student's name, dosage and instructions.
Special
lunches
for individual students can be shared between
parent/student at the lobby table or in the
cafeteria. We ask that "special lunches" be
limited to just a parent's student only. When
a parent shows up with food for their child and
other friends, it causes hurt feelings. Parents are
also welcome to enjoy lunch with their child in the
cafeteria.
Valuables are best left at home. Ipods, hand
held electronic games and cell phones cause a
distraction during the instructional day and are a
temptation to others. Items brought to school
will be kept in office until a parent can pick up.
