My name is Christine Baird I am so excited to be teaching Kindergarten here at Rose Union. I am thrilled to share the fun, learning, experience, and knowledge with the students. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher because I love to see the growth and excitement when students understand a concept.

I graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University with a degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood, after growing up in Woodward. It was an honor to be awarded SOEA’s Outstanding Chapter Award, which provided me the opportunity to travel to San Diego for a educational teaching conference. Being trained in Great Expectations has also enhanced my teaching skills.

My family means so much to me. We spend whatever time we can together. Oliver is my furry dog and companion. We spend lots of time playing at the dog park and walking. My hobbies include crafts, clay, movies, travel, and exercise.

I am so eager to be a part of Rose Union and I look forward to getting to know my school family!
