I am so excited to be a part of your child's life this year.  I love my job primarily because everyday I get to share in the successes, joys,
challenges and learning opportunities your child experiences.

I'd like to share a bit about myself with you.  I have been teaching for fifteen years.  I taught first grade for three years in Nashville,
Tennessee and third grade for the remaining part of my career in Deer Creek.  I was fortunate enough to be a part of the opening of Rose Union last year.  It was an exciting experience I’ll never forget. I have loved every year here at Deer Creek.  It is a place full of love, respect, and support for children.

I have two incredible children myself.  Joshua is a fine young adult, out on his own, and
Joel is a junior at Guthrie High School.  I am extremely proud of my
two boys and they are the joy of my life.  Last year, I married the man of my dreams!  Luckily, it didn’t take us long to start a family of our own!  I will be having our child in the middle of January and will return in March to finish out the year. 

I believe that communication between our team (student, parents, and
teachers) is of the utmost importance.  Please, if at any time, you have a
concern contact me to discuss a solution.  I want this year to be as
enjoyable and successful as can be for your child.
