Victoria
Ganjanathavat
Fifth Grade
My name is Victoria Ganjanathavat and my last name is
pronounced, phonetically, just as it looks, but
until you have had some practice pronouncing it, I
will be happy to go by Mrs. “G”. I am very proud and
excited to be a part of Rose Union; a school that
houses exceptional teachers and a wonderful
administration. I am the Fifth grade Science and
Spelling/Vocabulary teacher and enjoy every minute.
Last year, I taught Fifth grade Math, Science and
Writing at Washington Irving Elementary in Edmond. I
received my undergraduate degree from the University
of Central Oklahoma (UCO) in Elementary Education.
My passion is teaching! I have always wanted to be a
teacher since childhood, so after raising my
children and working as an Administrator in Nursing
Homes, I returned to college to get my teaching
degree.
My husband, Yongyut (Ute) is from Thailand (The Land of
Smiles). We have three grown children. Pattya is a
Gemologist living in New York, Katie is an Attorney
in Minneapolis and A.J. is in his second year at
the O.U. School of Medicine. Besides teaching
children, I also love gardening, painting, sewing,
reading, traveling, writing children’s books and
caring for our Shih Tzu and Yorkie puppies named
Poshi andYoda. Hazel, our Egyptian Mau cat tends to
take care of her independent self.
