Fourth Grade
 

I am delighted to have the privilege of teaching third grade at Rose Union this year!  This will begin my twenty-first year as a professional educator and I look forward to a wonderful experience with each student.

My background and expertise includes a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, and a minor in Biology.  I have had extensive training in Early Literacy, have been a mentor teacher for twelve years, and have taught first, second, third, and fourth grades.

 My husband, Tim, and I have been married for thirty-one years and have two wonderful adult children.  Rachel is a beautiful and talented stay at home mom who teaches online e-courses and designs and sells products through her crafting business.  She and her husband, Brett, live in Missouri, with our two super cute grandchildren, Sebastian (age 5) and Ruby (21 months).  Our son, Joseph, is a Blackhawk helicopter pilot, currently deployed in Iraq.  As you can only imagine, we are so proud of them all and so blessed to be family!

Things I enjoy include going to the movies every Friday night with my husband, shopping at my favorite places, eating out as often as possible, baking cookies (secret family recipe), and spending time with those we love.

My theme, once again this year, is “Triangle of Success”.  Teamwork will be the key and I am excited about the challenge!
