I am a drama queen at heart who loves to perform, especially for children. After touring with a professional drama team for a year, I decided I wanted to teach. I received my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education with a specialization in special education from The University of North Texas. Three weeks after I graduated, I married my best friend of 8 years, Sterling. (We don’t have any kids yet)I taught Kindergarten for Dallas Independent School District for one year before moving to Oklahoma.

Anyone who knows me well could tell you that I love to send text messages, bake cookies, love the color purple, Dr. Seuss, and Vanilla Dr. Pepper from Sonic. I enjoy having a good time, and am one who tries to keep a positive attitude.

I have always had a passion for children, especially those with special needs. I am very excited about the opportunity to be a resource teacher at Rose Union, and look forward to the many adventures ahead.
