Tiffani
Patrick
Second
Grade
My
name is Tiffani Patrick and I am thrilled to be your
child’s teacher! I look forward to getting to know
each and every one of you as the school year
progresses.
I
graduated from Southern Nazarene University in 1996
with my Master’s Degree in Education, specifically
Curriculum and Instruction. I started my teaching
career in 1998 at my Alma Mater (Bethany Public
Schools) teaching first grade and remained there for
seven years. It was fun walking down the same halls
that I had walked down as a child many years ago.
In fact, the room in which I taught was my third
grade classroom!
I’ve attended many Professional Conferences to
further my education as a teacher – Great
Expectations, Literacy First, Core Knowledge, I
Teach First, OK TechMasters, Brain-based Learning,
Guided Reading –just to name a few!
I
have a passion for teaching children and helping
them understand their world better. There’s nothing
like seeing a child’s face when they make a
connection and have developed a real understanding
of something new. It’s priceless!
In
2005, we moved to Edmond and anxiously awaited the
completion of our home we were building. I took
time off from teaching to help my family adjust to
our new environment. Two of my children attended
Prairie Vale last year – Ryan, now in sixth grade,
and Mollie, now in second grade here at Rose Union.
My youngest, Brady, was in Pre-K. I enjoyed the
role of being “Mom” and getting to volunteer in
their classrooms and at other school events. It was
a wonderful time that I will always cherish.
I
married my high school sweetheart, David, in 1991.
Now, almost 15 years later, we have three children,
two cats, Sugar and Cookie, and one recently adopted
Golden Retriever, Scout. We love living in the Deer
Creek area and enjoy spending time around our pool
as a family.
I
am delighted to be here at Rose Union teaching first
grade! It will be a wonderful year of learning
together! |
