Krista Pippin
Fourth Grade

     My name is Krista Pippin.  I am returning to teaching after taking a short break to remain closer to home with my children.  I am thrilled to be able to begin teaching again at Rose Union Elementary School!

     I am a graduate of the University of Oklahoma where I received a degree in Elementary Education.  In addition to my degree, I am also endorsed to teach Language Arts and Social Studies to middle school students.

     I began my teaching career at Jefferson Middle School in Oklahoma City where I taught Language Arts and Social Studies to sixth, seventh and eighth grade students.  After teaching six years in the Oklahoma City Public Schools district, I was fortunate to continue my teaching career at Deer Creek Middle School.  I taught Language Arts to eighth grade students for five wonderful years.  Most recently, I taught pre-school to five-year old children at Warm World School in Oklahoma City.  I look forward to seeing Warm World graduates here at Rose Union!

     My wonderful husband, Louis, and I have two amazing children.  Reid is a third grade Rose Union student, and Libby is four years old looking forward to attending RU kindergarten next year.
